STUDENTS GUIDELINES
The Placement Cell of K.C. Law College welcomes you, the students of our college, to apply for Internship & Job offers listed with us. To streamline the placement process and ensure a higher level of professionalism we shall be following a strict procedure and rules, which are as follows:
➔ Procedure:
1. An update regarding any offer received by us shall be posted by us via WhatsApp, on our FB Page and the Blog. Interested candidates should apply within the deadline as posted with the offer, which shall contain the proper format mentioned below.
2. Please give the email, an appropriate subject line
(Example: Offer No.00 _Internship/Firm’s Name).
(Example: Offer No.00 _Internship/Firm’s Name).
3. Make sure you name your CV appropriately. Names like “Resume”, “Law CV” etc, would not be accepted and the CVs will be upfront rejected. Use “Your Name_CV” as the name of the CV.
4. Only CVs in a PDF Format will be accepted.
5. CVs shall contain true and full information – Mention your marks, the year which you are in, your past work experience and your achievements.
6. A covering Letter is a must. In short and simple terms, cover the following information in your covering letter:

⦁ The year in which you are.
⦁ Past experience along with tenure and short details.
⦁ Qualification.
⦁ Why are you interested in the offer.

7. Make sure your CV is spell checked and is formatted. After all, we are law students and it creates a very negative impact.
8. We shall call you to college once we shortlist your CVs, Please make sure you are present at that time.
9. CVs not meeting the basic criteria put up will be subjected to upfront rejection.
➔ Rules:
1. Only those students who meet the minimum attendance criteria will be considered for placements and internships.
2. Once a student receives a call/update for an interview and is not present whenever required, or doesn’t complete the term of his/her internship/job, the candidate shall not be placed for any offer received by us in future.
3. A student placed on an internship or a full-time job has to provide us with a copy of the offer letter, his/her CV and documents attached with the CV, that may include your past internship certificates, achievement certificates etc. The student must also sign a register maintained by us.
4. Any default with regard to bad behaviour/unethical practices will not be tolerated and the candidate shall be barred from placement application.
